Customers elect the two best Canary companies

Attending the award giving ceremony was Pedro Rodríguez Zaragoza, councillor of agriculture, livestock, fishing and food of the regional Government of the Canary Islands and Rafael Arias-Salgado, President of Carrefour in Spain, as well as several businessmen within the sector.

The campaign was visited by 250.000 people. 70 local providers and 200 products took part, including a large exhibition of local products like cheeses, wines, gofio, mojos (typical Canary sauces), chocolates, beers, cigars, milk products, fish, and fruits like papaya, pineapple and avocados among others.
